I am Mohammad Hossein Ebtehaj, currently a second-year PhD student in the Algorithms and Complexity group at the University of Waterloo and the Institute for Quantum Computing. I go by Ebi or Mohammad.

My research interests lie broadly in computational complexity theory, with a focus on the power of randomness and quantum computation. I am fortunate to be advised by Shalev Ben-David.

Previously, I was a visiting researcher and Master's student at the University of Waterloo. Prior to that, I completed my undergraduate studies at Sharif University of Technology.

I’d be happy to chat! Feel free to email me at mhebtehaj@uwaterloo.ca.
